Hoang Minh Dung Tien, Secretary of the Ba Dinh District Party Committee, affirmed that this signing marks a new phase of development between the two sides.

He said that the cooperation is in line with the recently amended Capital Law approved by the National Assembly.

Tien said that people-to-people diplomacy is an important tool, especially in the resolution of complex issues and the building of mutual trust and understanding.

He also highlighted Ba Dinh's commitment to people-to-people diplomacy, as demonstrated by the appointment of a district leader to the Standing Committee of the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association in Hanoi.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Ngoc Ky, Chairman of the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations, noted that Ba Dinh District is the administrative-political center of Hanoi and the pride of Vietnam and the capital.

"The signing ceremony concretizes several cooperative efforts between the union and the district over time," Ky said. "It also aims at a broader implementation of the Politburo's Resolution 15 and promotes the Hanoi Party Committee's policy of intensifying people-to-people diplomacy in all districts, towns, and wards, with the purpose of raising the capital's public diplomacy to new heights," he added.

According to him, the signing of the cooperation program lays the foundation for the capital's people-to-people diplomacy to expand comprehensively in various fields, including culture, arts, education, and economy.

Hoang Minh Dung Tien, Secretary of the Ba Dinh District Party Committee, expressed his confidence that the cooperation will grow stronger and enable both sides to fulfill their political tasks.

He reaffirmed Ba Dinh's commitment to maintaining its status and prestige as the heroic district of the heroic capital, the cultural district of the civilized capital, and the peaceful district of the city for peace.

During the signing ceremony, both sides actively discussed and clarified the details of the cooperation and assigned specific contact persons to ensure the rapid and effective implementation of upcoming joint initiatives.
