HANOI ENTECH, a forum hosted by Hanoi, runs until June 28th and features over 200 enterprises from Vietnam, South Korea, India, China, and Singapore, among other countries. With some 250 booths, these enterprises are showcasing the latest energy-saving technologies. Key activities of the forum include the 2024 Vietnam Energy Transition Forum, the 2024 International Green Technology in Battery and Energy Storage Forum, the Vietnam-Korea-China Trade Forum, business networking sessions, contract negotiations, specialized seminars, and promotional programs on energy-saving and environmental protection solutions.

The event, under the auspices of the Hanoi People’s Committee and led by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, is organized in collaboration with the city of Busan, South Korea, and other relevant entities.
In particular, the exhibition features participation from companies in the battery and energy storage sector, demonstrating technologies and introducing products to a wide range of visitors. This provides an opportunity for government and city officials to learn about the latest advances in battery and energy storage technology.
In support of the Net Zero commitment and Prime Minister's Decision 500/QD-TTg dated May 15, 2023, approving the National Power Development Plan for the period 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050, the ENTECH HANOI 2024 organizing committee has focused participating enterprises on key areas such as environmental treatment (waste, sludge, and exhaust gas), drinking and industrial water treatment, new and renewable energies, energy-saving technologies, and battery and energy storage.

In her opening speech, Acting Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, Tran Thi Phuong Lan, emphasized that the ENTECH HANOI fair is a specialized energy and environment technology event that has garnered significant interest from both domestic and international businesses now in its 14th year, the fair has enhanced its quality, prestige, and international status, effectively linking trade in the energy and environmental sectors. It has attracted major enterprises from South Korea, Japan, and the EU, offering and promoting modern, high-tech, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly technologies.
"With thorough preparation by domestic and international enterprises and manufacturers, along with effective support from various agencies and organizations, ENTECH HANOI 2024 promises to create a dynamic trade environment, fostering business cooperation in energy efficiency and environmental sectors. This will help businesses in Hanoi and Vietnam access high-tech, clean energy solutions and connect with advanced global technologies, thus facilitating technology transfer and business development," affirmed Acting Director Tran Thi Phuong Lan.
Welcoming the event, a representative from the Water and Environment Policy Agency of Busan City, South Korea, noted that the ENTECH Vietnam event, held since 2009, has become a crucial platform for introducing the latest information and technological trends in the energy and environmental sector, aligning with the global market's expanding trend.

The representative also expressed the hope that ENTECH Vietnam would further enhance its role in strengthening the friendship between the two countries and become a leading exhibition in addressing the climate crisis.
