China-ASEAN Cultural Exchange Year 2014 opens in Beijing
The opening ceremony of China- ASEAN Cuitural Exchange took place in Beijing on the evening of April 7th.
Attending the event were Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong and Myanmar Vice President Nyan Tun.
Li said in his message that this year is the start of the second decade since the forging of strategic partnership between China and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the two sides stand at a new historical starting point in bilateral relations.
Prime Minister Nayn Tyun affirmed that taking rotating chair of ASEAN, Myanmar strives to develop bilateral strategic partnership to a new high level.
Vietnamese delegation led by Dang Thi Bich Lien, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism participates in the event.
Ao Dai collection of famous artist Lan Huong are on display at the exhibition on cultural costumes ASEAN- China at Chinese Museum of women and children.
