April 14: 23 Covid-19 patients in Vietnam recover, convalescents account for 63.53%

The new case of the day is from Hanoi, keeping the city on the lead for the number of infections.

As many as 23 Covid-19 patients in Vietnam recovered on Tuesday, taking the number of convalescents to 169 or 63.53% of the infections.

On the day, one more people was confirmed positive with the virus, totaling 266.

The latest case is linked to Bach Mai Hospital, the country’s biggest outbreak.

With the new case, Hanoi maintains its leading position for the number of infections with 114 people infected with SARS-CoV-2.

In the second week of the social distancing period (from April 8 to April 14), Vietnam confirmed 17 new cases, compared to 42 of the previous week.

Currently, 97 active cases are under treatment at 14 medical facilities nationwide, according to the Ministry of Health.

As of April 14, as many as 68,986 people are under quarantine, including 601 at hospitals, 13,455 at concentrated facilities, and the remaining at lodging facilities and at home, statistics by the ministry showed.
