More than 500 primary and secondary school students in Hanoi, HCM City and central Da Nang city will take part in the annual Robothon Contest starting on October 30.

The theme this year is the “Internet of things”, a current technological trend globally, and candidates will make robots and programme them to collect and deliver data.

The contest will be organised by the local education departments together with DTT-Eduspec Joint Venture.

It will be held in Da Nang first and then in Hanoi and HCM City on November 5 and 6.

The contest was first held in 2003.
