Another five-star hospital to be opened in Hanoi in 2025

When completed, the hospital will feature advanced early warning equipment for neurosurgery, minimally invasive surgery, and rapid post-operative recovery.

Vietlife International Hospital, a world-class five-star convalescent hospital, is expected to start operations in Hanoi's Thanh Xuan District in the next two years [June 2025].

Vietlife Group held the groundbreaking ceremony for the hospital construction this weekend and signed a memorandum of understanding with GE Healthcare Corporation (a leading American medical group) on clinical training cooperation in diagnostic imaging and specialties of neurology, spine treatment, and cancer.

According to Assoc. Prof, Dr. Kieu Dinh Hung, chairman of the Hospital’s Professional Advisory Council, with a total investment of over VND1.76 trillion (US$74.2 million), the hospital covers an area of 15,000 square meters and consists 300 five-star patient rooms, 18 operating rooms and a synchronous medical equipment system of GE Healthcare, Siemens, Drager, Hitachi, among others.

"When completed, the hospital will have advanced equipment for early detection of neurosurgery, minimally invasive surgery and fast recovery after surgery. We will focus on five areas: cancer treatment, spine and musculoskeletal surgery, infertility treatment, aesthetics and stem cells, and rehabilitation," Hung said. 

He stressed that the hospital would also collaborate with Vietnamese and international leading experts to provide examination, treatment, training, and technology transfer to ensure Vietlife's commitment to the highest quality of medical examination and treatment in Vietnam.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for the hospital's construction, Nguyen Anh Van - CEO of Vietlife Medicine and Pharmacy Joint Stock Company - said that Vietlife International Hospital will be a pioneer in researching and applying the world's most advanced technologies in examination and treatment solutions for patients.

"In addition to professional factors, the hospital also focuses on creating an optimal care environment for patients, both physically and mentally. It has green areas close to nature, with high quality service and the principle of taking care of customers like homies," Van pledged.
