The Hanoi Creative Activities Coordination Center helps provide a space to effectively present and pitch initiatives for the city's development to government agencies.

The Hanoi Creative Activities Coordination Center has been opened at the Hanoi Museum in Nam Tu Liem District, providing a panoramic view of the city's creative innovation activities.

This cultural institution is jointly run by the Hanoi Municipal People's Committee, the Department of Culture and Sports, the Hanoi Museum and the Architecture Magazine.

The facility offers both indoor and outdoor exhibition areas, allowing for the introduction and display of innovative design ideas and products, as well as the planning of various related events.

Bui Hoai Son, a Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education, said that the center shows Hanoi's commitment to UNESCO in participating in the network of creative cities.

Coordination is needed to boost creative activities to ensure that creativity pervades every event, and to ensure that it is sustainable. Only then will we be able to achieve maximum efficiency.

Bui Thanh Huong, Deputy Editor-in-chief of Vietnam Architecture Magazine, said that the center is an agency worth looking forward to because it can provide a support platform and regular connection for the team of artists in particular, and authors of initiatives for the development of Hanoi in general.

The Hanoi Creative Activities Coordination Center was established after the successful conclusion of the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2024. Held for nine days in November, the festival attracted the participation of nearly 500 units and 1,000 creators including artists, architects and curators.

With approximately 110 different activities in many locations, the festival attracted more than 30,000 visitors. Organizers said it was the most successful festival ever, with public turnout exceeding expectations.

This year's event is considered to be very inclusive and interactive. Professional producers from underprivileged social groups and the disabled population have made significant contributions as they help the audience better understand their world and show residents' positive attitude towards the process of creating a vibrant, creative metropolis.
