62 teams register for national robothon contest

The 2014 National Robothon Contest is set to kick off in Ho Chi Minh City on November 1 with the participation of 62 teams from across the country, the HCM City Education and Training Department announced on October 28.

Under the theme “urban waste management”, contestants must use robots for waste transport and treatment. The best three teams will advance to the International Robotics Competition, scheduled for Malaysia at the end of next month.

2013 Robothon Awards

The robothon competition, the second of its kind so far, aims to create a good playground for kids to apply information technologies and scientific advances in the spirit of creativity and teamwork.
