So far, reporters from various news agencies and broadcasters all over the world have gathered in Hanoi to follow the event which receives global attention.

On February 22, hundreds of reporters from the world’s leading news agencies have been in Vietnam. The largest number of reporters is from the US, South Korea, and Japan, according to Tuoi Tre newspaper.

Meanwhile, domestic newswires and newspapers continue posting entries on the presence of international reporters in Hanoi while other articles describe the preparations for the event.

Trung said that Vietnam has only 20 days to prepare for the event after US President Donald Trump officially announced the venue for the summit. Meanwhile, Singapore had nearly two months for the preparations for the first summit which took place in May 2018.

Earlier, Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and related agencies to make efforts for the organization, noting that international reporters should be given maximum support during the summit.
