The general public, and especially the young people of Vietnam, will be exposed to classical music in a sophisticated and appealing way.

"The concert promises to provide audiences with an exciting journey to enjoy classical music with diverse experiences such as listening, viewing and visual interaction," he said.

The Vietnam Youth Symphony Orchestra (VYO) will present a sumptuous feast of classical music laced with a variety of foreign cultural touches, he said.

You will join the VYO in exploring the lands that gave birth to classical masterpieces in Europe, embark on an adventure through Japan, and discover the enchanting connection between classical music and the distinctive sounds echoing through the regions of Vietnam.

The sixty-minute performance will feature six pieces of classical music, including Pomp and Circumstance March No.1 by Edward Elgar; Capriol Suite (selected movements) by Peter Warlock; English Folk Song Suite by R. Vaughan Williams; Rhapsody for Orchestra by Yuzo Toyama; Thien Thanh (Blue Sky) by Tran Manh Hung and The Sound of Music Suite by R. Rodgers and O. Hammerstein II.

Audiences will also have the opportunity to learn about a typical  symphony orchestra

through a fascinating exhibition of different orchestral instruments and explore the symphony orchestra through mini-games.

Founded in March 2022, the VYO gathers more than 70 members, aged 12 to 22, who are young musicians and amateur artists from different professions and nationalities. They rehearse together every Sunday morning. VYO's mission is to create a vibrant young orchestra where members discover the lifelong joy of making music.

VYO aims to encourage the Vietnamese young generation to learn and play classical music and develop their artistic abilities.
