Vietnam's two most modern trains put into operation on North-South route
The Saigon Railway Company inaugurated and put the two newly-acquired trains, coded SE7 and SE8, into operation at the Saigon Railway Station on January 26.
In order to meet the high travel demand between Hanoi and HCM City during the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) holidays, the project to renovate and upgrade the trains SE7 and SE8 was deployed from April 2015 with the total investment of 65 billion VND.

At present, SE7 and SE8 are the country's fastest and most modern trains. The trains are equipped with modern and comfortable facilities. The corridor of bed wagons are arranged LEDs with soft lighting, the floor is designed by aluminum wagon. The carriages are also insulated to reduce noise.
Passengers can easily access the internal network on train via free wi-fi to watch movies, listen to music, read books, play games.
In addition, services on the route include meals, snacks, coffee, soft drinks and beer for passengers.
