Vietnamese water puppet to be performed at Kuala Lumpur International Arts Festival

Thang Long water puppet theatre will attend the Kuala Lumpur International Arts Festival held in Malaysia from September 17- 21.
The Kuala Lumpur International Arts Festival is one of the biggest arts and cultural festivals in Southeast Asia and attracts the participation of various performers from many countries in the region, including dance, music, comedy and traditional arts performances.

On September 19 at Kuash Theatre in Kuala Lumpur, Vietnamese artists led by Chu Luong, Vice Director of Thang Long water puppet theatre will play two shows depicting the daily activities in rural Vietnam, important historical events and ancient legends.
The event is a chance to introduce Vietnamese water puppetry, a unique art filled with Vietnamese culture characters, to the international art world.
The festival also gives Vietnamese artists an opportunity to learn more about Malaysia.
