Vietnamese team bags 3 silver prizes at Asian Physics Olympiad 2016

The Ministry of Education and Training said that the Vietnamese team won three silver, three bronze prizes and two honourable mentions at the 17th Asian Physics Olympiad held in Hong Kong, China from May 1-9.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, all of the students won three silver, three bronze prizes and two honourable mentions at the 17th Asian Physics Olympiad are twelfth graders from gifted schools in Hanoi, Quang Binh and Nam Dinh.
 
Dinh Thi Huong Thao, a student from Le Hong Phong Gifted School in Nam Dinh province, wins the silver prize.

Particularly, four out of eight prizes, including one silver, two bronze and a honourable mention, were belonged to students from Le Hong Phong Gifted School in Nam Dinh province.
The Asian Physics Olympiad, the premier physics competition for pre-university students from Asian countries, is modeled after the International Physics Olympiad. It was organised for the first time in Indonesia in April 2000.
