Held annually, the World Luxury Hotel Awards is the pinnacle of achievement in the luxury hotel industry offering international recognition as voted by guests, travelers and industry players alike.
Two Sun Group resorts, including Premier Village Danang Resort and Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills, were honored at the 2018 World Luxury Hotel Awards in Bali, Indonesia last weekend.

The Premier Village Danang Resort won the world’s leading luxury family beach resort while the world’s leading luxury romantic hotel belongs to the Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills.
The awards are expected to give more fame to Vietnam's tourism industry and attract more holidaymakers.
Established in 2006, World Luxury Hotel Awards is the pinnacle of achievement in the luxury hotel industry offering international recognition as voted by guests, travelers and industry players alike.
Over 300,000 international travelers vote each year, during a four-week period to select the winners. Luxury hotels have the opportunity to participate in the World Luxury Hotel Awards by entering hotel categories that showcase their unique selling points and destinations.
Earlier, two resorts which are invested in by real estate giant Sun Group were honored with top prizes at the 24th World Travel Awards (WTA) 2017 gala night, held in Phu Quoc Island.
Accordingly, InterContinental Da Nang Sun Peninsula Resort set an unprecedented record in the history of the WTA awards as it had won the World's Leading Luxury Resort award for the fourth consecutive time. Meanwhile, the JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort gained the World's Leading New Resort 2017 award.
Two resorts in Vietnam received the highest votes from leading experts and top executives in the field of resort and hospitality across more than 140 countries and territories around the world.
Held annually, the WTA is considered the most prestigious, comprehensive, and sought after awards program in the global travel and tourism industry.
