Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has given directions to the upgrading of the website www.tiengvietonline.com.vn, designed for overseas Vietnamese.
He asked the Ministry of Education and Training to continue designing a project on promoting online Vietnamese language learning to submit to the Prime Minister for approval.
The website includes lessons from six volumes of “Tieng Viet Vui” (Interesting Vietnamese) for children and teenagers, and six volumes of “Que Viet” (Homeland Vietnam) for adults.
New vocabulary in each lesson is translated into English to help people follow the lessons easily. Learners can check the results of their listening, reading and writing skills by comparing their answers with the correct ones provided in each exercise.
Users can also download all lessons and exercises from the two series of textbooks “Tieng Viet Vui” and “Que Viet” from the website to use as learning materials.
