Vietnam Film Days in Russia, introducing the best of Vietnamese cinematography, also opened on June 26 coinciding with the festivities.
Addressing the opening ceremony, First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Aristarkhov highlighted the friendship and long-lasting comprehensive cooperation ties between Russia and Vietnam.
The event contributes to further strengthening cultural exchange and boosting traditional bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, he said.
