Vietnamese culture colourfully celebrated in Russia
Russian and international visitors are getting the opportunity to explore the beauty of Vietnamese nature and culture at festivals in big Russian cities from June 25-30 celebrating Vietnam Culture Day 2014.
The festivities, taking place in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Yaroslav, feature a wide array of traditional Vietnamese dance and martial art performances along with seminars on literature and art exhibitions.

Vietnam Film Days in Russia, introducing the best of Vietnamese cinematography, also opened on June 26 coinciding with the festivities.
Addressing the opening ceremony, First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Aristarkhov highlighted the friendship and long-lasting comprehensive cooperation ties between Russia and Vietnam.
The event contributes to further strengthening cultural exchange and boosting traditional bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, he said.
