The highlight of the event is a flower-themed fashion show with 34 outfits made of fresh flowers.
Among them, the works of the host country Vietnam are highly appreciated with a costume combining flowers with traditional straw and bamboo materials; the flower dress with iconic patterns of the Vietnamese Lac bird on Dong Son drum, and others.
At the competition, the Vietnamese team won two awards in the WFC Championship Cup category, including the gold award for Nguyen Chi Thai; and the bronze award to Ngo Hau. Flower arranger Denny Lam from Singapore won the silver.
In addition, all three consolation prizes in the category went to other Vietnamese contestants.
Meanwhile, the WFC Friendship Cup category was given to Vietnamese contestants, including Dinh Thi Bich Van (Gold), Nguyen Thi Luu (Silver), Ha Minh Chau (Bronze), and Vo Truong Vy Thao (Consolation).

The World Flower Council Summit 2023 takes place from September 8 to 12 at Da Lat University, Da Lat City.

The 37th WFCS, themed "Vietnam - Blooming with Timeless Charm", has attracted more than 500 flower professionals from 18 countries and territories.
This year's event is organized by the World Flower Council in cooperation with Da Lat University from September 8 to 12.
Participants took part in a number of activities, such as WFC member delegate meetings and workshops on fruit, vegetable and flower design.
The event aims to honor the values of flowers and the flower industry and to spread the desire for peace among people through sharing the love and knowledge of flowers. It is also an important event to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the founding and development of Da Lat City.
The WFCS was first held in Japan in 1983 to promote world peace through the beauty of flowers. It offers delegates the opportunity to exchange design techniques and ideas with industry professionals from around the world and to learn about the latest care and handling techniques.

The event aims to praise the beauty of flowers, peace, and friendship among people from all over the world.
