Vietnam takes last-minute check ahead of the National Congress

Both police and army join the activities ensuring security for delegates and guests.

Vietnam’s different agencies on January 22 conducted a rehearsal in preparation for the 13th National Congress which will take place in three days.

 Executive member of the Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong lays a wreath and visit late President Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum.

Executive member of the Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong himself inspected the preparation including the flag raising ceremony, photography of delegates, music programs and documentary film screening for delegates.

Joining the rehearsal are representatives of the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations, the Office of the Party Central Committee, the Government’s Office and the National Assembly’s Office,

There are many divisions involved in logistics work for the Congress.

According to the National Convention Center, the main hall where the Congress takes place can accommodate more than 1,600 delegates, enough for official delegates and guests.

Technical facilities including sound, light, electricity, and firefighting have been fully equipped, ensuring safety and security.
