Addressing the seminar, People’s Supreme Court Vice Chief Judge Tuong Duy Luong reviewed the development of relations between his agency and its Korean counterpart over the past 22 years, noting that Vietnam-RoK cooperative relations have gained major achievements in all fields with the establishment of a strategic partnership in 2009.
The RoK’s Supreme Court and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Vietnam supported training activities, making an active contribution to Vietnam’s present and future judicial reforms.
Park Sam Bong, Director of the RoK’s Judicial Research and Training Institute highlighted Vietnam’s efforts in overcoming difficulties and achieving high economic growth in the context of the world’s economic downturn.
Delegates also shared experience in conducting research, delivering lectures, training judges and developing Intellectual Property Law.
The event helped judiciary staff learn about the real effects of the legal system on intellectual property and share experiences in dealing with cases in the related field.
