Vietnam together with diplomatic corps from Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Mongolia, Pakistan, Thailand and China attended Embassy Day in Germany.
At the diplomatic affair, the German Embassy organised many economic talks, photo exhibitions and art performances, screened films, and introduced traditional cuisines.

Indonesian Ambassador to Germany Fauzi Bowo said the event provided a good chance for diplomatic agencies from Asia-Pacific countries in Germany to exchange experience and seek cooperation opportunities with each other and with German partners.
Themed “Smart City”, experts at seminars talked about the development trend of the smart city model in the future and specific challenges facing larger cities in the Asia-Pacific region.
German scholars said that rapid population growth, limited natural resources, and global climate change prompt Asia-Pacific countries to devise smart solutions for infrastructure and urban development.
In addition to seminars, participating countries showcased their customary products, culture and cuisines promoting their land, people and economic development.
Vietnam displayed handicraft products and beautiful images on its land, people and landscape.
Traditional Vietnamese art performances received warm response from international friends.
