Vietnam calls for int’l cooperation in climate change response
International cooperation is the key to handling damage caused by climate change, Ambassador Mai Phan Dung, Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the United Nations, World Trade Organization, and other international organizations in Geneva said on September 13.

Dung called on the international community to increase financial resources and put in place human-right-based measures to address the losses caused by climate change.
Vietnam, Indonesia promote bilateral rice trade cooperation
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received Indonesian President-elect Prabowo Subianto in Hanoi on September 14, during which he proposed Indonesia early sign a bilateral rice trade cooperation deal.
Subianto wished to enhance cooperation with Vietnam in food security and receive Vietnam’s experience in agricultural development. Both leaders pledged to keep effectively implementing mechanisms to help solve difficulties in numerous areas and strive to soon achieve the goal of US$18 billion in bilateral trade turnover.
PM chairs Government’s September law-making session
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on September 14 presided over a monthly law-making session of the Government to keep refining the legal framework to facilitate development.

Vietnam trade mission in Germany enhances cooperation in automobile industry
The Vietnam trade mission in Germany coordinated with the Berlin-Brandenburg Automotive Association (aBB) to hold a roundtable on cooperation in the automobile industry.
Michael Bose from aBB said the association will arrange a business delegation to visit Vietnam to seek cooperation opportunities. Commercial Counsellor Dang Thi Thanh Phuong from the Vietnam trade mission pledged to assist in connecting enterprises from the two sides for fruitful cooperation.
Hanoi raises US$20,000 for flood relief through ornamental creatures exhibition
Hanoi's first Ornamental Creatures Festival 2024, spans over 80,000 square meters and features over 33,000 works from 55 provinces. The event runs from September 11 to 15 at the F1 racetrack, showcasing bonsai, stone art, orchids, and regional specialties. Notably, participants raised VND480 million (US$20,000) for flood relief efforts in Northern Vietnam.

Through artistic performances, the program encourages donations to aid victims in rebuilding their lives. The 28-year-old from Nam Dinh is 1.76m tall with measurements of 86-60-94. Duyen has been a judge and coach in multiple beauty competitions.
