Viettel launches Vietnam's first nationwide 5G network

Viettel on October 15 officially launched Vietnam's first 5G network, covering all 63 cities and provinces. With over 6,500 base stations, Viettel's 5G network offers speeds of up to 1Gbps, ten times faster than 4G. The company aims to take the lead in digital transformation and 5G development, making Vietnam one of the first countries in the world to produce 5G network equipment.

Exhibition affirms Vietnam's sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa

An exhibition entitled "Hoang Sa, Truong Sa of Vietnam: Historical and Legal Evidence" was opened in Quang Nam on October 15. The exhibition displays maps and documents confirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the Paracel and Spratly Islands. It aims to raise public awareness and responsibility in protecting the nation's sovereignty by showing Vietnam's long and peaceful control over these territories for over 400 years.

Vietnam seeks Sweden’s expertise in green transition

At a meeting with Swedish Ambassador Johan Ndisi on October 15, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan expressed her desire for Sweden to share its expertise in green transition, particularly in addressing climate change in the Mekong Delta. She stressed Vietnam's need for the circular economy to support sustainable development. Ambassador Ndisi reiterated Sweden's willingness to support Vietnam's green transition efforts and promote sustainable investment.

Ban Gioc Waterfall Scenic Area officially inaugurated

The Ban Gioc Waterfall (Vietnam) - Detian Waterfall (China) Scenic Area was officially inaugurated on October 15, marking a milestone in cross-border tourism cooperation between the two countries. The tourist attraction has attracted 16,092 visitors after one year of trial operation.

Vietnam, Russia discuss joint organization of major events 

Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong and Russian Ambassador to Vietnam Gennady Bezdetko on October 15 discussed cooperation in organizing major cultural and artistic events on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Vietnam-Russia diplomatic relations, the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, and the 50th anniversary of Vietnam's Reunification.

Electronic library preserves key works of late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong

The Electronic Library of late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, launched in Hanoi on October 15, preserves 66 key publications on his ideological and theoretical contributions. It serves as an important resource for researchers, Party members, and the public, showcasing General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's insights on Vietnam's socialist path and the Communist Party's leadership in the country's achievements.
