In a major new development, the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology will be opening a new museum in Hanoi embracing 32 hectares of nature for visitors to enjoy a unique outdoor experience.
In making the announcement, a representative for the academy said this is the most significant event since it opened and they can’t wait for visitors to experience the fun and invigorating encounter with nature.
The new Vietnam National Museum of Nature, destined to become a top tourist attraction, will be constructed at either the Quoc Oai ecological urban area located in the outskirts of the capital or at the Vietnamese Ethnic Group Village in Dong Mo, Son Tay.

It’s a little premature to talk about the status of the campaign, but the academy will be launching a major fundraising campaign for the project to supplement monies sourced from the State budget, the representative added.
As approved by the Prime Minister, the project will be built in two phases, the first from 2015-2020 focusing on things such as site work preparation, infrastructure, and collecting specimens with the second from 2021 to 2025 finalising the project.
