Vietnam-Mongolia bond tied through legacy
The Mongolian people inherit from the legacy and make efforts to build up the warm bilateral relations.
The long-lasting Vietnam-Mongolia relationship has been reinforced with the development of legacy which was built by former leaders years ago, a Mongolian official has stated.
The Mongolian people inherit from the legacy and make efforts to build up the warm bilateral relations which they have witnessed over the past years, mostly for those working and learning at Mongolia’s High School No.14 named Ho Chi Minh, said the school’s Rector E. Gungaajav.
He said that working at the school named after Vietnam’s founding leader – late President Ho Chi Minh – is a big honor for himself and other staff, the rector said at a meeting with Vietnamese Ambassador to Mongolia Doan Thi Huong earlier this week [February 13] soon after his taking office.
Mongolia’s High School No.14, one of the first schools in Ulaanbaatar and named Ho Chi Minh School, is a way to remember contributions to the Vietnam-Mongolia relationship by the late president.
The naming was made in 1980 after the school created sister relationship with Hanoi’s Chu Van An High School on the 90th birth anniversary of late President Ho Chi Minh.
High School No.14 is famous for its education background in Mongolia. A number of senior officials and scientists have graduated from the school.
Former and current students of the school are proud of studying at the school which is named after the late president who struggled for the good relationship between the two nations, E. Gungaajav told the ambassador.
Studying at the school enable students to know more about the late president and Vietnam, playing a crucial role in exchanging the two cultures and strengthening the bilateral ties, he said.
At the meeting, the ambassador pledged to continue supporting the school, which celebrates its 70th anniversary of establishment in 2019, which is also the 65th anniversary of the Vietnam-Mongolia relations.
