Vietnam Journalism Museum formally established
Vietnam Journalists Association has recently held a ceremony to announced Decision 1118 / QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on the establishment of Vietnam Journalists Association.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Ho Quang Loi affirmed that the establishment of the Vietnam Journalists Association is extremely meaningful to the press. This is the yearning, hope and determination of the Vietnam Journalists Association as well as journalists, collaborators and the mass media nationwide.

The Vietnam Journalism Museum is responsible for gathering, researching and introducing the contents of their exhibits, the typical artifacts and documents. At the mean time, honoring the generations to go ahead, especially the revolutionary generation of Vietnam, affirming the role and position of the press in the struggle for independence, freedom, construction and development of the country.
Throughout the implementation of the project for Vietnam Journalism Museum, up to March of 2017, the Project Management Board of the Vietnam Journalists Association has collected about 14,000 artifacts and newspapers. There are newspapers that have gone through many ups and downs of history still exist, recording the glorious imprints of national history.
In more than 300 delegates, not only the presence of senior journalists, former journalists as leaders, representatives of the media, but also there have been a large number of media students to witness this meaningful event. Students representing young people to use the new technology are passionate about memorabilia, historical papers, actively asking former journalists, relatives of martyrs journalists for artifacts. They feel more clearly about their responsibility and obligation to promote the good tradition of Vietnam's revolution press.
