According to Nguyen Truong Son, director of Cho Ray Hospital, this is the first unit in Vietnam to provide the highest standard-health diagnostic services under the model of Ningen Dock, Japan’s famous health check procedure.

Vietnam-Japan health examination center was jointly built by Cho Ray Hospital and Japan’s International University of Health and Welfare. The project was awarded the investment certificate at the APEC Conference held in Da Nang city in late 2017, Son added.

He stressed that the center will provide high-quality health check-ups, meeting the demand of local residents, adding that one of the advantages of the center is offering the dual and remote diagnosis with the support from Japanese experts.

The center has the function of supporting treatment for the southern provinces, which will serve in-depth health examinations, prevention of diseases and health improvement, contributing to reducing overload in Cho Ray Hospital, Son added.

With a team of doctors and medical staff trained in Japan and a modern medical equipment system, the center aims to become one of the international standard medical establishments to serve locals, residents in other southern localities and foreigners, including the Japanese community living in Vietnam, Son added.

In addition to screening, comprehensive health care, from examination to testing and diagnosis, the Vietnam-Japan health examination center also provides consultations, prevention and treatment recommendations, Son said.
