“Vietnam consumer rights day 2019” held in Hanoi

The Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade launched a ceremony to observe the “Vietnam consumer rights day 2019”, with the theme of "Healthy business - Sustainable consumption", in Hanoi on March 16, the government portal reported.“Vietnam consumer rights day” is held annually to affirm the role, position and importance of protecting consumers' rights to the society and the economy’s stable and sustainable development.

Besides, the "Enterprises appreciate consumers" week will take place from March 17 to March 22 in Hanoi. The event is a bridge between enterprises and consumers via offering promotions such as gifts, discounts, warranty support and product maintenance. The week expresses businesses’ gratitude to consumers and upholds enterprises’ sense of respect for consumers' rights.
Moreover, from April 19 to April 23, the event of "Product and goods festival for consumers" will be held with the participation of 50 stalls at Big C Thang Long supermarket in Cau Giay district, Hanoi. The event will see the attendance of large enterprises with numerous gratitude programs to bring the best experience and post-sales support for consumers.
In addition, “Vietnam consumer rights day 2019” also focuses on promoting dissemination of legal knowledge to a large number of consumers in the capital, especially high-school students – the would-be consumers who are gradually acquiring consumption right consciousness in shopping activities.
