Minh Nguyen 09:55, 2024/05/19
Vietnam typically organizes various events to commemorate the president's birthday and launches campaigns to inspire people to learn about and adopt his thoughts and morals.

Today, people in Vietnam and abroad are celebrating the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – 2024).

In Hanoi, top leaders and former high-ranking officials have gathered to lay flower wreaths and pay tribute to the late president who declared the independence of Vietnam in 1945.

On this occasion, news on President Ho Chi Minh and his thoughts made headlines in the media. In addition, the Vietnamese missions abroad and groups of overseas Vietnamese people have paid tribute to the leader at his monuments in their places.

Meanwhile, on the street, banners and posters celebrate the president’s birthday and convey his thoughts and sayings.

Normally, to celebrate President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday, Vietnam’s agencies, organizations, and schools launch campaigns and contests to encourage people to learn and follow the president’s career and lifestyle.

Ho Chi Minh is one of the key figures in the history of Vietnam and the world for his dedication to the independence of the nation.
