The Vietnamese side wants to receive technical assistance from KOSHA to enforce the Law on Occupational Safety and Health in line with the country’s socio-economic development strategy in the coming phase.

Moreover, KOSHA will help MoLISA build its capacity in occupational safety and health. It will promote safety culture at workplace in both countries through the establishment of cooperative relations between the two agencies.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Le Tan Dung believed that through the cooperation agreement in the next stage, Vietnam will effectively implement activities and projects.

The two sides also discussed new directions for cooperation in the context of Vietnam accelerating the process of industrialization – modernization to become a member with important role in the ASEAN community, Dung added.
