By Bach Nhat 16:36, 2015/01/27
Vietnam would like the UK to share its experience in education and provide it with technical assistance. Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam made the statement on January 26 while receiving the UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, Lord David Terence Puttnam, in Hanoi.

UK education is developing well and the Vietnamese Government has been building a developed education sector towards a long-term vision and is to effectively implement all reached agreements to boost relations in an effective and sustainable manner, Dam told his guest.

For his part, Lord David Puttnam Terence said Vietnam and the UK still boast huge potential for broader cooperation in trade, investment and education and training. He suggested Vietnam evaluate its demands for human resources in future to devise a long-term training plan aiming to meet requirements for sustainable development.
