Under the agreement, the two sides will together set up a Korean language centre and build a training programme for the Ha Nam Vocational College, heard a working session between local authorities and Principle of the RoK university Lee Ho Sung.
They agreed to collaborate in management-related work, professor training, and student exchanges. Outstanding students at the Korean language centre will be sent to the Yeungnam University for training. Lee Ho Sung cited language difference as one of the difficulties facing RoK investors in Ha Nam province.
Thereby, the Yeungnam University decided to shake hands with the Ha Nam Vocational Collage to establish the Korean language centre, which will host 2-3 morning and evening classes, he said. Each class is designed with some 20 students who are being employed at RoK companies and those having demand to work for RoK firms, he added.
Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vu Dai Thang expressed his hope that the bilateral training cooperation will help attract more RoK investors to the locality. He affirmed that local authorities will create propitious conditions for the two schools to cooperate effectively.
