The Ministry of Defence receives memorabilia of war

Professor Bob Hall and Professor Derrill De Heer Professor of the University of New South Wales (Australia), who participated in the war in Vietnam carried out returning Vietnamese soldiers’memorabilia who sacrificed in the Vietnam war to relevant agencies under the Ministry of Defense.
A group of former teachers in collaboration with the professors of the University of New South Wales (Australia) carried out a number of humanitarian projects to assist Vietnam to find soldiers’ bones.
 
 
When the project was finished, the group has returned more memorabilia of Vietnamese soldiers which  Australian soldiers seized to the Vietnam Veterans Association, Policy Department, and General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army.

During this time, two professors gave back some memorabilia including diaries, learning materials, New Year greetings cards printed poetry of President Ho Chi Minh in 1969, a set of notebooks, leather wallet, some pictures and photos, 2 commendations. and a wristwatch.

All memorabilia were donated to the Vietnam Military History Museum. 
Authorities of the Ministry of Defense will provide additional information on artifacts, and find soldiers’ family members or relatives to return those memorabilia to them in the coming time.
