The 7-Eleven also carry Vietnamese sandwiches (Banh mi) - popular around the globe, Xoi sticky rice, Che dessert puddings, Bo la lot leaf-wrapped beef, and Banh cuon, filled crepe-like rice cakes.
Initially, the store will be operated by SSV, but it is expected to be franchised in the future. With Vietnam, 7-Eleven now has stores in 19 countries.
In June 2015, the convenience retailer signed a master franchise agreement with SSV to develop and operate 7-Eleven convenience stores in Vietnam. It marked the company's first expansion into the Pacific Rim since 7-Eleven entered Indonesia in 2009. Based in Irving, 7-Eleven operates, franchises or licenses more than 62,000 stores in 19 countries, including 10,900 in North America.
