The 8th National Tourism Art Photography Contest themed “I love Vietnam” will occur from January to June, 2018.

Contestants are all Vietnamese citizens inside or outside the Vietnamese territory; foreigners living and working in Viet Nam; with no age limit. The organization board hopes to receive excellent submissions with theme “I love Vietnam” representing creative angles of view of culture, human, landscape… that show love for country of art photographers, visitors and travel holics. Catching up with 4.0 industrial revolution wave and supporting contestants, this year – for the first time – the organization board accepts digital submissions and jpg images. Contestants please follow specific directions and send submissions to website: www.anhnghethuatdulich.com.
The National Tourism Art Photography Contest has been first held since 1990 in larger scale with high-quality artworks. Continuing the resounding success of 7 last contests, The 8th National Tourism Art Photography Contest themed “I love Vietnam” is one of meaningful activity forwarding to 58th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Tourism (9/7/1960 – 9/7/2018).
The 8th National Tourism Art Photography Contest is also an important event that helps represent Vietnamese culture and people to foreigners, enhance tourism materials and raising community awareness of tourism roles as well as attract more and more visitors to Vietnam Tourism.
Last year, the contest with themed “Vietnam today” launched from December 17, 2015 to May 31, 2016. The contest aims to highlight the diversity of daily-life activities around the country of Vietnam as well as to praise the country's tourism resources and natural landscapes.
Under an association of Tourism Administration, Vietnam Photograhy Artists Association and Tourism magazine, the contest aims to introduce picture, trademark and tourism products in the main markets and honour beauty of Vietnam; friendly and peaceful people. After seven qualifying rounds, the contest’s jury selected 11 the best works, including one first prize, two-second prizes, three third prizes and five consolation prizes.
