Danish ambassador John Nielsen officially launched the Talent Prize 2014 contest themed “Climate change through photos” at a press conference in Hanoi on June 6.

Ambassador John Nielsen said that the arts play an important role in social development and photography is particularly interesting, especially for young people using smart phones, as it captures moments and aspects of social development.

The judging panel including Danish and Vietnamese experts, will select 80 of the best photos for exhibitions in Hanoi and HCM City. Entries to the competition can be submitted from June 6 to August 29 and exhibitions will be held in late October.
