Nguyen Van Trung was born in Hanoi and is currently working as a counsellor and a member of the administration board of a Hanoi-based bank. He is also the representative photographer of the Fujifilm Corporation in Vietnam and the co-founder of the Fujifilm X Vietnam photo forum.
Trung has been pursuing sophisticated and humourous scenes on the streets over the past few years. His works are now being displayed at exhibitions in Vietnam and Japan, as well as in magazines and newspapers, such as Fujifilm X Magazine, X Photographers Book 2015 and 2016 and Recoh-Pentax Magazine.
In 2015, Trung was one of the two photographers to win first prize in a photo contest co-organised by the Recoh-Pentax Corporation and the Japanese Professional Photographers Society.
Chu Viet Ha was born in the northern province of Bac Ninh. As one of the two co-founders of the Fujifilm X Vietnam photo forum, Ha has been pursuing the philosophy of “decisive moments”, bringing viewers closer to moments occurring on the streets everyday. He was part of the judging panel of Photo Talk, organised by Fujifilm Vietnam.
The exhibition by the two photographers will be held on the 4th floor, Tower B, Vincom Centre, 191 Ba Trieu Street, Hanoi.
