Ngo Minh 11:15, 2023/10/14
Six artists are collaborating to create paintings and sculptures inspired by the beauty of the natural environment, which they will share with the public during the exhibition.

The painting and sculpture exhibition entitled Mau Nang (Sunlight Colors) by six artists Dinh Khac Cong, Vu Thanh Yen, Hoang Ngoc Ha, Le Ngoc Huyen, Luu Thanh Lan, Nguyen Nghia Cuong opened in Hanoi today (October 14).

Each with their own style, but sharing the same love and passion for beauty, show companions in their creative journey.

The exhibition brings to art lovers the diversity of pictorial and sculptural language, reflecting the constant movements of society in contemporary art.

Through different materials and themes, the artworks depict the natural and human beauty in all parts of the country.

Artist Dinh Khac Cong has a delicate look at photography. His paintings are passionate. The lively landscape of rocks and water together in the play of light and sound, eliminating oldness and bringing magical fresh vitality.

Visitors will see exquisite lacquer paintings by artist Vu Thanh Yen, which harmoniously portray people, landscapes, and still lifes in the mysterious, distilled color palette of traditional lacquer material, luxurious silk material with a contemporary feel by artist Hoang Ngoc Ha, or landscape paintings with unique personality by Nguyen Nghia Cuong.

From the image of a lone tree on a mountaintop to people associated with the northern land of the country, the paintings of artist Le Ngoc Huyen embody a strong and mysterious soul.
Meanwhile, sculptor Luu Thanh Lan creates modern, strong yet feminine sculptures with her artistic language of refined forms and lines.

The exhibition is open daily from October 14 to 23 at the Exhibition House, 16 Ngo Quyen Street, Hanoi.
