Serein Cafe & Lounge - A corner of Hanoi
Serein Cafe & Lounge looks out over the famous Long Bien Bridge. And when a train rolls through, you get to see it across the bridge and the river.

Hanoi’s rooftop scene isn’t quite as varied as your options in Saigon. Most of these rooftop bars are more a place where you go to have some drinks with friends, rather than an all night party.
Serein Cafe & Lounge, No.16 Long Bien Station Apartment, Tran Nhat Duat Str, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi, Vietnam. This one is more of a cafe than a bar. But they do have alcohol, and they have one of my favorite rooftop views in Hanoi. The view from this one is so classic.
Long Bien bridge is an historic cantilever bridge across the Red River that connects two districts, Hoan Kiem and Long Bien of the city of Hanoi, Vietnam. The bridge was built in 1899 - 1902 by the architects Daydé & Pillé of Paris, and opened in 1903. At 1.68 kilometres (1.04 mi) in length,[1] it was, at that time, one of the longest bridges in Asia.
The drinks of Serein Cafe & Lounge are quite varied with the price from 1.5 – 4.5 USD, it’s not too expensive with a beautiful view overlooking the corner of the Long bien bridge. Enjoy a cup of coffee, watch the surfers line through the same train whistle echoes, indeed have a little something very Hanoi. From the rooftop of Serein Cafe & Lounge, we could see the Long Bien market with corrugated green. This is a convenient location for the professional photographer.
