The Hanoi Christmas Fair is running at Vinhomes Gardenia in Nam Tu Liem District during Noel 2024, providing a festive and enchanting experience for all people.

This annual fair brings together locals and tourists to enjoy warm mulled wine, browse the distinctive wares, and soak up the warm, cheerful atmosphere.

The event aims to provide people with a series of experiential activities and shopping space on the occasion of Christmas. This year's Christmas Fair has gathered nearly 50 booths from brands such as Puccini, BOO, The Body Shop, Flower Of Hands, Zota, Beyond & Co, Little Sam, ABC Mart, among others, to showcase accessories, fashion and gifts for the festive season.

The Christmas gifts and decorations area of the show is bustling with a variety of eye-catching products at affordable prices. People can find a wide range of decorations, including Christmas trees, tinsel, reindeer models, string lights, wreaths, baubles, snowflakes, candy canes and Santa Claus outfits.

Rebecca Gracey, an Englishwoman who has lived in Hanoi's Nam Tu Liem District for five years, said she bought decorations for her family's Christmas tree. "The Christmas gifts and decorations at the Hanoi Christmas Fair are diverse, with more attractive designs than those I have seen in street shops. This year, colorful velvet Christmas items are trendy," Rebecca told The Hanoi Times.

Other Christmas items include bells, drums and tinsel, Santa Claus costumes, Santa hats, hair accessories, wreaths, pinecones, stars and wooden wall hangings are also available at the fair.

Truong Thi Ngoc Hanh, a stallholder, noted that the best-selling items in her shop are handmade velvet bows for decorating trees and doors. "Their prices range from VND100,000 (US$3.9) to VND1 million (US$39), depending on the size. Previously, the baubles were just colorful plastic ornaments, but this year there are also velvet-covered and glitter-covered ones in various sizes," Hanh told The Hanoi Times.

In addition, a special winter festival was held on the night of December 24, featuring a youthful Christmas music stage. Nguyen Huong Ly, a second-year student at Hanoi University of Education, told The Hanoi Times: "Me and my friends came to the Christmas Fair tonight to enjoy the music performance and see my idols, singers Tang Phuc and PiaLinh. The atmosphere is so lively, the stalls are rich and diverse with many handmade items, suitable for nice gifts."
