Scholarships for Vietnamese students to study in Korea
Five Korean universities and the BS Financial Group have committed to granting scholarships to 10 Vietnamese students annually, funding their higher education pursuits in the Republic of Korea.
A document to this effect was signed in Hanoi on April 1 between President of the Busan Bank and Financial Group Sung Se Whan, Busan Mayor Heo Nam Sik, and directors of the five universities and representatives from the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training.
The five universities are DongA, Dong Eui, Silla, Kyung Sung and Busan Foreign Languages.
The scholarships provide 10 Vietnamese students the opportunity to continue post-graduate studies in the fields of their choice at one of the five Busan universities.
They will also have the chance to work for a Busan Bank branch in Ho Chi Minh City after successfully completing their advanced studies.
Earlier, Busan Bank presented 5,000 learning kits and 10,000 clothes to flood victims in Quang Tri province.
