Roche Vietnam pays gratitude to war martyrs

Roche Vietnam Co., Ltd has donated a number of reagents for identification testing with the new DNA assessment technology on new generation of sequencing system to the Vietnam Martyrs` Family Support Association (VMFSA) on the 67th anniversary of Vietnam`s War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).

It has also presented 10 savings-books to the martyrs' families to share their difficulties and support somehow their daily life.

Rod Ward, General Manager of Roche Vietnam Co., Ltd said he is deeply touched by the activities organized by the government, communities, associations to pay gratefulness to the martyrs and their families, who contributed and sacrificed for the country.
He said he understands that although the war has long passed, its consequences still linger in Vietnam.
“With the corporate social responsibility and myself personally, who has a chance of living and working for almost 20 years, I believe that contributing to these activities to pay gratitude to the martyrs and their families is very meaningful and it is an honor thing to do,” he concluded.
