Revealing the project of new national funeral home in Hanoi
The Ministry of Construction in collaboration with the Hanoi People’s Committee held a ceremony in the city on March 15 to announce the detailed planning on the construction of a new national funeral home.
The Construction Ministry said the project aims to honour ceremonies at State and high level obsequies.
The new funeral home, which covers on the area of 13.5 ha, will be located in Song Phuong commune, Hoai Duc district, Hanoi city.
Functional areas and architectural space will ensure State funeral ceremonial activities conform to the regional landscape, as well as represent gratefulness and honour those who served.
The key works of the new funeral home will include two to three floor buildings, which will be constructed using environmentally friendly materials and familiar to the spiritual culture and beliefs of people.
