At the reception, President Truong Tan Sang recognised contributions of Ambassador Somphone Sichaleune to the special solidarity and traditional friendship between Laos and Vietnam, which have been further strengthened in recent time.
The President thanked the Lao Party and State for supporting Vietnamese businesses’ effective investments in Laos, and promoting bilateral cooperation in education-training, national defence and security.
Especially, bilateral trade has achieved strong growth with the major projects, including the 50-million-USD kali salt mining one in Laos.
