PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc noted that the recent visit to Vietnam by Irish President Michael Daniel Higgins was a success, creating a new impetus for bilateral relations. He said Vietnam hopes to boost trade and investment ties with Ireland, while looking for Ireland’s help in education and training, as well as assistance for the early signing of the Vietnam-EU free trade agreement. The PM asked the ambassador to help with promoting bilateral relations in the time ahead.
