Planning the Imperial Citadel Heritage of Thang Long - Hanoi
From now until 2020, the Centre for Heritage Preservation of Thang Long - Hanoi will preserve the status quo of the Dragon. That is informed in the detailed planning of preservation, restoring and promoting the value of the Imperial Citadel Heritage of Thang Long - Hanoi taking place on April 19 morning.
Planning schemes include 3 contents: planning projects, conservation projects, investment management regulations. According to Vu Dinh Thanh, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Architecture: "The target of the planning priorities is to highlight and celebrate the value that has been recognized worldwide, particularly evident image of the highest authority of the country spanning several centuries." The planning will focus on highlighting the spatial axis from Ky Dai to Bac Mon.
The implemented planning has particularly important significance, contributing to promoting the values of history, culture, art, planning, urban architectural character of the nation. At the mean time, preserving and honoring the image of the Capital's historic district, contributing to improve landscape architectural space for the Ba Dinh political center, so that the Imperial Citadel Heritage of Thang Long - Hanoi is the forever invaluable resource that our father leave for humanity, for the next generations.
Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Ngo Van Quy said: "The detailed plan for preserving, restoring and promoting the value of the Imperial Citadel Heritage (with the ratio of 1/500) is the legal important basis to implement the overall plan, the investment projects aiming at effective implementation of conservation, restoration and promotion of heritage value. Furthermore, planning will contribute to building a legacy to become Hanoi's historical and cultural park as its suggested objectives".
