As many as 150 black-and-white photographs depicting the relationship between Vietnam and France have gone on display in Paris as part of the 2014 Vietnam Year in France.
Taken between 1860 and the early 20th century by prominent French photographers, the shots were collected by the Research Centre for French National Archives, the French Academy of Overseas Sciences (FAOS) and several museums across the country, according to FAOS Permanent Secretary Pierre Geny. They will be displayed in museums across the French capital.
