Over VND15 billion in support of ethnic minority

HCM People’s Committee has also announced that the district has granted scholarships and schooling resources worth nearly VND2.5 billion for ethnic minority pupils.
 
 
In the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai, the provincial People’s Committee has said the province has allocated over 400 tons of rice from Government support for localities, in order to provide food for the ethnic minorities between the crop seasons, during 2014.
Accordingly, 26,785 people in 13 districts have received 15 kilograms of rice per person, per month..
Meanwhile, the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong has approved a housing development program until 2020, in which it has put aside over VND1.2 trillion from the budget to give housing support to 3,500 revolutionary contributors’ families, 7,700 poor families in rural areas and some 500,000 square metres of floor to low-income people./.
