Over 500 Hanoi traffic police provided with first aid training

The Road and Railway Traffic Police Office, under the Hanoi Police organised the training course for the morning.
Over 500 traffic police in Hanoi were provided with first aid training in order to be able to help in a variety of situations, from traffic accidents to delivering babies in the street.
 
Dao Vinh Thang, head of the office, emphasised the potentially life-saving benefits of the one-day training course.
“This training course is very useful for traffic police, as it provides them with necessary skills deal with a number of situations. If a woman goes into labour on the street or on the way to hospital, for example, traffic police will be able to give a helping hand," he said.
