Over 2,400 foreigners to join in Danang International Marathon 2019 tournament
The event is slated to take place from August 9 to August 11. Runners will start from the East Sea Park in the early morning, run along the coastal lines and through the city’s most well-known bridges.
Over 9,000 participants, including 2,404 runners are from 67 countries and territories worldwide such as Japan, South Korea, China, Thailand, Egypt, Belgium and Hungary, have registered to join the Danang International Marathon 2019 has attracted, the Government Portal reported.
There will be five options for runners including a full marathon of 42km, a half marathon of 21km, a 10km run, a 5km fun run, and 1km Ronny Dash run for children and their families.

According to the organizing board, besides spreading the message of love for Danang, over 1,000 volunteers will help clear garbage and plastic waste along Danang coastal line to call for environment protection.
There wil be also a display area for showing some written stories about Danang or participant’s impression on the previous marathon.
The Danang International Marathon 2019 is considered one of the biggest marathon tournaments of the year in Vietnam and a desirable sports and tourism destination for the marathon-lover community in both Vietnam and abroad. The contest is expected to name Danang as a bright spot on the international marathon map.
