This is part of a series of expectations of both sides following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 24 between the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade and ABE on cooperation on a high-end network of sustainable production, supply and consumption in the aviation industry.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Stéphane Castet, President of ABE, said that through the cooperation, ABE will support Hanoi in developing a network of sustainable production chains, service supply, and consumption in the aviation industry.

In addition, the two sides will jointly organize a series of business matching events in the aviation industry between manufacturers, and suppliers in Hanoi with a high-class network of global aviation manufacturers and suppliers.

“With its experience and connections, ABE will select suitable international partners to participate in the programs, especially high-profile businesses, corporations and airlines in the world. We, along with the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, will organize AeroExpo Hanoi & Vietnam Aviation Forum 2023,” he emphasized.

She added that currently, the demand for developing the supply chain of products and services in the aviation industry is increasing rapidly in the Southeast Asian market, especially Vietnam and Hanoi.

“Therefore, the signing of this MoU aims to create a high-end sustainable network development environment and contribute to creating a favorable environment to connect potential businesses of Hanoi and the supply chain network of international high-class aviation services,” she said.

In the integration, the city strives to keep its leading position in attracting and using foreign investment capital thanks to the continuously improved investment and business environment, increasingly open procedures, and the capital’s advantages, Lan pledged, adding that the city has identified the business community and foreign-invested enterprises as an important driving force for the development and integration of the capital.

The ABE part will coordinate with the Hanoi Department of Industry and Commerce to organize exhibitions in Hanoi in 2023, 2024 and 2026. From 2026, the events will take place in the city biannually.
